Mabey Bridge is acknowledge as a specialist supplier of modular steel bridging and heavy plated steelwork; impressed REpower UK with their high standard of product and their commitment to customer care.

This announcement further secures their new £38million facility and reinforces their commitment to create 240 jobs in Monmouthshire; as most of the steel tubular towers will be manufactured at Chepstow for most of REpower’s planned wind farms.  .

Repower UK, is one of the country’s biggest suppliers of wind energy, with 25 wind farms; they will deliver their 400MW target in spring 2010.

William is to visit Mabey Bridge later this month to see the new developments and the opportunities for further economic regeneration in South Wales East; an area that has been a significant decline in manufacturing industries during the past decade.
